Hi Friends,
I'm posting the first post of Week -4 of Sharon's TAST challenge. The work is still in progress, I'm posting as I stitch along. This is the design I choose to stitch.

I have done one more motif on cretan stitch, you see it here. After posting the photos, I have a doubt, have I done the right stitch, or not?
Cheers
Savitha.
Cretan comes in different forms, I think, and it looks to me as if you yes, have done Cretan, perhaps the closed stitch? I think it looks different since you've used it to curve with.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely work, and how fast you were onto this!
Lovely work. It certainly looks like Cretan stitch to me.
ReplyDeleteLove the flower in cretan stitch.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed looking at your blog. Your stitches are well sewed. May I ask where you find your designs? I think it is a great way to experiment with the stitches, but if I have to design a design to stitch on, I'd never accomplish anything. Kathy http://kathysnest32.wordpress.com/
